Brothers and Sisters,

The John Marron Houston City Council District I race is in full swing. John is one of our own a Union member of the CWA (AT&T). We, IBEW Local 66, need to support John in this race. Volunteers are block walking every Saturday until election day. If you want to help elect a Union member please call me Mike Mosteit at 713-943-0716 or 281-794-2663. This race is very winnable with the Union Families living in the District. With Volunteer help to turn out the Union vote we will win and send a message that Unions are alive and well and willing to work to elect one of its own . With Union members in elected office we eliminate the learning curve for elected officials and we may even convince incumbent elected officials to educate themselves on Union issues or we may need to elect one of our own in other areas!
Please contact me to volunteer and elect John Marron!

Brothers and Sisters,

Houston City Council race District I - John Marron is the labor endorsed candidate who is a member of the Communications Workers Of America Local 6222. Houston being the 4th largest city in the nation and labor endorsing one of its own has put us in the spotlight. Will Labor produce the financial support and turn out its vote? Local 66 will answer this challenge, we will contact every members living in this district and ask every member of local 66 to participate in some way. Those willing to get out early and help a fellow union member and their local union please call me at the office and leave contact information.
This is labors chance to show this city, state and nation we are alive and growing and we support our own. Contact me or Greg.

Brothers and Sisters,

President Hill has sent a memo to all Local Unions concerning Local 66's members participation in Politics. This means are our members registered to vote, is Local 66 informing its members on Labor Friendly Candidates, are Local 66 members contributing to its Political Fund and are Local 66 members getting to the polls and voting. The International will be working with the Locals to educate its members on the impotance of Labor's Vote to assure our voice is heard. To be effective all members must participate not depend on others. Every union member and their families' vote is important. With every members participation we will have a healthy COPE Fund and we will elect good Politicians. This will result in better wages and working conditions by legislation. We must participate and demand that our fellow union members participate IBEW and all other unions.

Please contact me with any questions and if you are willing to help.
Fraternaly,
Mike Mosteit
